211: Online Portal

211 Online portal and searchable database now available in N.B.!

Since its launch in October 2020, the 211 phone service has received calls from more than 9,000 New Brunswickers. 211 has helped them find programs and services to support non-emergency needs around financial assistance, transportation, mental health, food access, and government services, amongst others.

Now, thanks to a partnership between the Department of Social Development, United Way Centraide Canada, the three regional United Ways in NB, FindHelp Information Services, and the Economic and Social Inclusion Corporation (ESIC), the 211 database is also available online via a new portal launched in July 2021.

The new searchable database provides access to information on community and government resources in New Brunswick, allowing users to access the entire 211 database, with results available in both a list and map format, for ease of navigation. At the same time, the 211 Community Navigators remain available at the other end of the phone line to help users with specific questions or needs they may have, when they dial 2-1-1.

If you would like to explore the new portal, and the wealth of community resources and programs available to you and your loved ones, visit today. Help starts here.
