Faith McFarland

Phone: 506.459.7773 ext. 202

Email: faith@unitedwaycentral.com

Faith has been working in the non-profit sector for over a decade, with a strong emphasis on community organization, poverty reduction and homelessness. Most recently, she was the Coordinator for the Community Action Group on Homelessness (CAGH) and has also worked with the Fredericton YMCA’s Department of International and Community Development, and the John Howard Society of Fredericton. Through her work in the community, she has collaborated with a wide range of charities, non-profit organizations, government partners and private sector supporters. Her greatest passion is for her role as a single parent to her now teenage daughter, Fiona. Family life has brought her great joy and learning. She is also, reluctantly, a confirmed crazy cat lady.

Interim Executive Director

Peter Cullen

Phone: 506.459.7773 ext. 204

Email: peter@unitedwaycentral.com

Peter's natural intention has always been to empower people.

He taught youth and adults in Hong Kong and Fredericton for several years, then managed teams supporting First Nations literacy learning and student well-being throughout Canada. He has also worked in designing curriculum and e-learning to help people impacted by disabilities.

Removing barriers so that others can be their best selves fuels Peter's work. He enjoys sharing his skills in human centered design, facilitation, project management, process management, and performance metrics.

In his spare time, Peter collaborates with Shivering Songs Festival and Harvest Music Festival. When he's not engaged in those activities you can find him growing vegetables, walking his dog (and cat!) and spending time with his family.
