Fredericton Food Bank

We had a client who had utilized our services for many years. The client faced many challenges, was living on Disability, Income Assistance and had difficulty making ends meet.  In March of 2009, she came into the Fredericton Food Bank for the final time, and thanked everyone for their tireless efforts on behalf of those who use their services by providing encouragement, help and food for people like her. 

As a result of her age, she qualified for the “Young Age Pension” and was delighted that she could now have some independence by being able to meet her financial obligations, have money left over to support herself and provide the necessities of life.
